In 2010 Hazel established a nurse-led memory clinic and participates in the Australian Dementia Network (ADNet) research.
Alongside this clinic, Hazel currently works in a general practice which focuses on weight loss and general health care.
Hazel created RISE collaborative health to improve access to timely health delivery driven by nurses, who she firmly believes can be at the forefront of positive change in health care delivery models.

Responding to Healthcare Crisis
The healthcare industry is currently under enormous stress. RISE collaborative health was born out of the need to address this crisis by introducing a fresh and effective model of care delivery.
We work with pharmacists and other health practitioners.

Based in Hobart, Hazel is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with over 13 years experience in this role.
Throughout her career she has worked in aged care, mental health and general practice.
Hazel has been a research associate with the Wicking Research and Education Centre and is current Australian College of Nurse Practitioner’s Tasmanian Chapter Chair.
